Meet Grace Anderson
Postpartum Doula | Newborn Care Specialist | Early Childhood Educator
Grace’s journey into supporting families began long before she became a postpartum doula. During her senior year of high school, an internship at a local daycare sparked a deep passion for early childhood education and family care. From there, she pursued Early Childhood Special Education in university and gained hands-on experience working as a preschool assistant teacher, caring for children from infancy through age five.
Today, Grace continues balance her role as a preschool teacher while providing Postpartum Doula and newborn care support to families throughout Michigan’s Upper Peninsula including Marquette, Alger and Dickinson Counties.
Grace is known for her calm presence, professionalism, and evidence-based approach to care. She believes that support during the postpartum period should feel reassuring, nonjudgmental, and fully tailored to each family’s needs.
Her approach combines years of classroom experience with a deep understanding of family dynamics, helping parents feel confident, supported, and rested during the early weeks with their newborns.

Grace has as passion for continued education and is currently training to become a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, expanding her ability to guide families through one of the most common postpartum challenges....sleep!
When she isn’t caring for families or teaching in the classroom, Grace loves spending time outdoors capturing the beauty of the Upper Peninsula through her camera lens, reading everything from romance novels to research studies, and relaxing with her two cats.
Fun fact: Grace and Lacy share the same last name (though they aren’t related!) and often laugh about how they both started their journeys by taking their high school child development class - not one, but twice - because they loved it so much!
