What is a Postpartum Doula?
As a Postpartum Doula, I help families find a system that works best for them! Providing evidenced-based education and support to the whole family on topics like newborn care, feeding support and 4th trimester adjustments. Postpartum Doulas also offer tips for recovery from birth, parent-baby bonding, sibling support, and transition adjustments for the whole household, including pets!
Services are available to any family situation. This includes foster and adoption families!
What is Postpartum Care?
Postpartum Doula care is fully customized to meet your family’s individual needs. Services can be provided in your home, virtually, or over the phone - giving you flexible options for emotional support, education, and practical assistance. Care is available during the day or night, and can continue through your baby’s first year.
With support families often feel calmer, more confident, and better able to enjoy the fleeting, precious moments of early parenthood.
How we Support Families Postpartum
Postpartum Doula support is designed to nurture your whole family and provide extra support with everyday tasks like light house cleaning, meal preparation, and newborn care when you need a rest, a shower, or a few quiet moments with older children.
In addition to that Postpartum Doulas help with support with newborn feeding, trusted education and connections to local resources.
As a child passenger safety tech I provide car seat education and seat checks to help keep your little one is safe on the road.

While I do offer light house cleaning, meal prep and helping out with the children, that is not the primary role. I work with families providing education, emotional support and guidance with the transition of having a newborn easier. There are limitations to the tasks I can do. If you are needing additional support I am more than happy to help connect you with a provider that meets your family's needs!

Yes and yes! Flexible payment plans are available and this service is provided by the hour! I do accept Michigan Medicaid / UPHP, although there are some limitations to the service provided with insurance coverage. Discounted hourly rates are available to families with MI Medicaid.
